Ahmadinejad - Judaism And Christianity Don’t Exist

While many nations of the world have come to realize the importance of religious tolerance, it is obvious that the ruler of Iran has taken a step beyond religious intolerance - - he is now exhibiting religious denial! In an article that appeared in Worthy Christian News, Joseph DeCaro reports the Iranian leader’s claim, as seen in the clip below:

Tehran, Iran (Worthy News)– In his opening speech at an Islamic conference in Tehran Tuesday, the President of Iran said that God didn't create Judaism, or Christianity. 

It is unclear whether this is a prime example of foolhardiness, arrogance, or both! Either way, the Bible addresses both aspects. Both Psalms and Proverbs deal with the “fool” part:

• Ps. 14:1 - “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”
• Ps. 74:18 - “Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.”
• Prov. 1:7 - “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
• Prov. 12:9 - “Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.”

Isaiah has a few things to say about the arrogant:

• Is. 2:11 - “The eyes of the arrogant man will be humbled and the pride of men brought low, the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.”
• Is. 2:12 - “The LORD Almighty has a day in store for all the proud and lofty, for all that is exalted and they will be humbled.”
• Is. 13:11 - “I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.”

While these words of scripture may have pertained during other historic periods, it certainly seems as though the words were specifically written for today! There is one verse of scripture in Psalms that is definitely for all eras, and that is Ps. 122:6 - - Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! As we see world leaders who not only have no respect for Jehovah but actually deny Him, it is obvious that, more than ever, we need to be on bended knee in accordance with the directive to pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Jerusalem, City of God

Jerusalem is the only city God claims as His own; it is called the City of God and the Holy City in Scripture. He declared to Solomon in 2 Chronicles 33:7, “In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my Name forever.”

In October of 1991 the Middle East peace conference was convened at the Royal Palace in Madrid, Spain. I was sent by God to be a witness there. I was the first person to speak after Secretary of State James Baker concluded his remarks. I asked, “Why can’t America recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital? Secondly, we are moving a military presence into the Arab world for security. Why can’t we have a military presence in Israel to help its security? It has suffered so greatly, and has especially paid a dear price during the Persian Gulf War.” Baker was incensed by my remarks and said he refused to be entangled in a fruitless debate and that the status of Jerusalem should be determined by negotiations.

To this day, America has refused to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. This is a grave mistake. I have shouted this warning from the White House in Washington to the Royal Palace in Madrid as I rebuked world leaders with the words, “God does not recognize America’s non-recognition position!”

Following Christ

Before Christ can shake the world through us, we must allow Him to shake the flesh out of us. We cannot follow Jesus, and the flesh at the same time. But we can die-to-our-flesh and come alive in the Spirit. A flesh-fed world can never see the living Christ through a flesh-fed Christian.

I remember going on a hunt and wounding a wild boar. I needed my dog to track him, but the boar went into the muddy creek where many other boar tracks and scents confused my dog. Every boar had the same scent. The key was to go back to the blood trail, which my dog then was able to follow easily, so I could bag the boar.

In a reverse way, we all have “fleshprints” that smell of flesh, which is easy for a demon to hunt down for the kill. When we reek of flesh, we don’t scare demons, no matter how much, or how loudly we pray. But those demon powers can distinguish traces of blood. When we have the scent of the blood of Jesus on us, because we have been wrestling with God, those demons catch the scent and stay off that trail. When we are covered in the blood of Jesus, they avoid us the same way they avoid the presence of God. They’d rather go down to the muddy creek bed and fight with all the flesh they smell wallowing around there!

In the Greek, “bema” means “footprints.” Scripture tells us that the Church will go before the “Bema Judgment” seat of God, where we will be judged for how closely we walked in the footprints of Jesus. Christ has created bloodied footprints for us to walk in. When we die to our flesh and become alive to the Spirit, we are “led of the Spirit” which causes our footprints to match Christ’s. Then, the trail we leave is the blood trail of the footprints of Jesus. The blood trail of Jesus causes demons to tremble and the world to shake.

If you’re bound by flesh, you must go back to the blood trail where the blood of Christ was applied.

Pray for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Are you hungry for the presence of the Lord?

Because we don’t call for flesh to burn, smolder and smoke on our altars, instead of entering through a veil into a holy place, we provide a revolving door. Masses of Christians wander like gypsies from church-to-church, dazed and traumatized, trying to find another fix where they can see or feel a glimpse of the glory of God, because they can’t seem to get it on their own. They hope for a more powerful service or a more anointed pastor. We search for a spiritual “high” that can only be lived through the “low” of death.

“Self-esteem” feeds inferiority and is never attainable for a Christian until they esteem Christ above all—then they’ll be bold as a lion. As long as I have “me” on my mind, I cannot have the mind of Christ. When we enter the Holy of Holies and are touched by the penetrating ray of God’s light, we will never again be the same. Once we’ve been with Jesus, we will be shattered, heartbroken and burdened if His presence is not there. All we’ll ask for is the manifest presence of the Lord in our place, where we can dwell in the shadow of El Shaddai. Just one penetrating revelation of the person of Jesus Christ will change our lives forever.

The moment Jesus, the “Last Adam,” died in His flesh, the veil to the Holy of Holies was rent and the glory of God was released, creating a mighty earthquake. When we declare Lordship for only one Person on the throne of our lives, we release the Holy Spirit to rent the veil of our flesh, and signs and wonders follow. Those who are hungry for the presence of Jesus will step behind the veil, and allow the Holy Spirit to burn away the impurities of their flesh. They will behold the Lamb of God (John 1:29), and look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2). The fear of God will come into their lives and smug, content Christianity will be a thing of the past.
